About this colour

#ADA9A0 reads as a mid-light grey with beige warmth, so it feels measured rather than crisp. It lifts light gently without turning bright, which helps it keep body on a wall. In a north-facing room it can lean cooler and more mineral, while in south-facing light the warmer base comes forward and makes the shade feel smoother and more inviting. It sits well beside natural oak, dark walnut, chalky off-whites and upholstered pieces in taupe, linen, pewter or muted olive. In Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion or True Matt, it works equally well on joinery or main walls where you want a restrained background with some warmth.

How to use it

Use Double Silver in a sitting room, study or hallway where you want a colour that is calm but not flat. It pairs neatly with painted woodwork in off-white and with upholstery in warm neutrals, slate greys or soft green tones.

A quiet warm grey that gives a room a settled, easy backdrop.

Pairs well with

Double Silver is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
