About this colour

At #E1E1DF, Glacier Grey reads as a light grey with a cool edge and a faint softness that stops it from feeling hard. On walls it lifts the room gently, holding light well while keeping its own presence quiet and even. In a north-facing room it can feel cooler and more silvered, so it works best where you want a composed, slightly architectural look. In south-facing light it warms just enough to become a smooth, pale neutral that sits comfortably beside deeper greys, stone tones, pale oak and painted joinery.
