About this colour

At #434F5F, Como Blue reads as a muted navy softened with slate, so it holds its own without looking black. In north-facing light it becomes cooler and more sombre, with the grey note coming forward. In south-facing rooms it lifts a little, revealing more blue while still keeping its grounded, restrained feel. It sits well beside pale oak, dark walnut, chalky whites and upholstered pieces in linen, camel, taupe or ink-toned patterns.

How to use it

Use it in a study, sitting room or panelled hallway where you want depth on the walls or on joinery. It pairs especially well with painted woodwork in off-white and with upholstery in natural neutrals, heritage blues or warm brown leather.
