About this colour

This shade reads as a gentle warm neutral, with a clean pale base and a quiet grey note that keeps it from looking creamy. Its high lightness means it reflects plenty of light, so it can make a room feel open without becoming sharp or glaring. In a north-facing room it will take on a cooler, softer cast and can read slightly more grey; in south-facing light it feels warmer and brighter, with the white side of the colour coming forward. It works well beside oak, walnut and painted joinery, and gives a calm backdrop to upholstery in stone, taupe, slate or muted green tones. In Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion or True Matt, it stays straightforward and refined on walls or woodwork.

How to use it

Use it in sitting rooms, bedrooms or hallways where you want a pale wall colour that still has some depth. It pairs neatly with natural woodwork, linen-toned upholstery and darker joinery details.
