About this colour

#934C46 is a warm, muted red with brown in its base, so it reads as a clay-like colour rather than a clear red. It absorbs a fair amount of light, which helps it feel intimate and steady on a wall, especially in the True Matt finish. In a north-facing room it will look deeper and more restrained, with the brown notes coming forward; in south-facing light it softens and shows more of its red warmth. It sits well beside natural oak, dark walnut, brass, and textiles in camel, stone, olive, or ink blue.
