Double Pebble

2026 Paint PaintZOP1029-13

Double Pebble is a Zoffany paint colour that sits between beige and grey with a softened, stony warmth. In the 2026 Paint range, it reads as an easy neutral with more depth than a pale taupe and less sweetness than a biscuit tone.

About this colour

This shade, #C0B194, has a warm undertone that keeps it feeling grounded and calm rather than cool or chalky. It reflects a fair amount of light, but the colour still holds enough pigment to give a wall definition and a gentle sense of substance. In north-facing rooms it can lean more taupe and slightly muted, with the grey side becoming clearer. In south-facing light it turns warmer and more golden, which brings out the beige in the colour without making it brash. It sits neatly beside natural oak, darker walnut, painted joinery in off-white, and upholstery in linen, camel, olive, or deep brown.

How to use it

Double Pebble suits sitting rooms, bedrooms, and hallways where you want a calm backdrop for woodwork or built-in joinery. It works well with warm white trim, smoked oak furniture, and upholstery in earthy greens, soft charcoals, or muted clays.

A warm, steady wall colour that softens a room without going pale.

A pot comes off the same order as the fabric, so the wall and the chair in front of it are chosen together. The making is ours: cut, sewn and fitted in our own Heybridge workshop, with Simon over every stage.

Pairs well with

Double Pebble is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
