About this colour

This shade reads as a pale grey with green in it, lifted by enough white to keep it airy but not cold. In north-facing light it will lean cooler and a little more muted, with the green tone becoming more noticeable. In south-facing rooms it feels brighter and more open, and the grey keeps it from turning sugary or minty. Beside natural oak, limed oak and painted joinery it looks calm and measured, and it also works well against upholstery in stone, driftwood, sage or soft charcoal tones.

How to use it

Use Ice Floes in living rooms, bedrooms or studies where you want a pared-back wall colour that still has some character. It suits painted woodwork in the same family, or sits neatly with pale timber and upholstery in muted greens, warm greys and off-whites.

On a wall, Ice Floes is a light grey-green that stays gentle and composed.
