About this colour

This shade reads cool overall, with a muted mineral cast that keeps it calm on the wall. It reflects a fair amount of light for a mid-tone grey, so it can feel open rather than heavy, while still holding its own beside richer colours. In a north-facing room it will look more blue and slightly cooler, with the grey edge becoming sharper. In south-facing light the colour softens and warms a little, showing more of its balanced grey character. It works well beside pale oak, walnut, painted joinery in white or black, and upholstery in stone, ink, soft silver or deep navy.

How to use it
