Paris Grey

This shade reads as a soft warm grey with a green undertone, and the hex value gives it a gently mellow, slightly chalky appearance rather than a cool flat grey. It lifts the room without becoming bright, so on walls it feels calm and composed, with enough light reflection to stay clear in shadowy spaces. In north-facing rooms it will lean more restrained and grey, while south-facing light brings out its warmer, green side and gives it a little more life. It sits well beside pale oak, walnut and painted joinery in the same family of muted neutrals, and it also pairs neatly with natural linens, mole-toned upholstery and deeper greens. Use Paris Grey in sitting rooms, studies or hallways where you want a settled background for upholstery in flax, taupe or moss tones. It is especially good with painted skirtings, doors and shelving in off-white or deeper olive-based greens.
