Chiaroscuro Fabric

Falconetto 50cm Cushion Mineral brings a cool, mineral-toned interpretation to the Chiaroscuro collection. Its close-set stepped waves shift between pale grey, charcoal and smoky mid-grey across the surface.

About this fabric

The design is formed from irregular, zigzagging bands that create a rhythmic chevron effect, with each edge softened by mottled tonal transitions. Pale mineral grey highlights sit against charcoal and graphite lines, giving the colourway a distinctly cool, architectural depth. The varied shading makes the pattern read as layered and almost topographic rather than as a flat geometric repeat. As a fabric specifically titled for a 50cm cushion, it is particularly well suited to graphic accent cushions and coordinated upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use the cool mineral and charcoal tones against chalky whites, concrete greys or weathered timber for a restrained contemporary scheme. On a cushion, the stepped pattern adds movement without introducing a brighter accent colour.

A cool, layered grey graphic for statement upholstery and tailored cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Falconetto 50cm Cushion Mineral without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
