About this fabric

The close-up image shows an espresso-brown ground with delicate shifts between warm brown and charcoal across the face. A fine, even texture and restrained sheen lend the surface a softly brushed appearance, without a visible motif or repeat. The dark tone reads grounded rather than glossy, allowing subtle surface variation to emerge as the light moves across it. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Teton Espresso on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its deep brown tone can anchor a room without the starkness of black. Balance it with aged brass, warm oak, stone and lighter natural textiles to draw out the warmer flecks in the surface.

The deep espresso tone brings quiet depth to upholstered seating and pairs well with warm timber, bronze and charcoal accents.

Pairs well with

Teton Espresso is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
