About Mulberry Home

Mulberry Home was created in 1991, following the success of Mulberry's leather bags and accessories. Mulberry itself was established in Somerset in 1971, and the house says the home range still draws on that heritage of quality and craftsmanship while keeping an eye on fashion.

Each collection is built around a theme of its own, and the recent ones read like a walk through the English countryside: Garden Party, with embroideries inspired by archival documents; Country Walk, in cloth and in a matching run of ten wallpapers; Bruton Weaves, which takes its textures from garden paths and weathered paving; and Croft Weaves, four decorative weaves meant to coordinate across the whole range.

Wool runs through it. The Wools collections are woven exclusively for Mulberry Home in Scotland, soft plains and tartans made for relaxed rooms, and they sit beside checks, stripes and small prints designed to be mixed rather than matched.

It comes to us through GP and J Baker, which carries it in the UK. We reach for it when a room should feel settled and English without looking like a period set: a wool tartan on an armchair, or a country print at a cottage window.
