Jaipur Floral Peacock

Archive Collection on Linen FabricJaipur Floral - PEACOCK

Jaipur Floral Peacock layers softened blue florals, curling leaves and paisley-like forms across a warm cream ground. Its gently textured surface gives the detailed pattern a muted, timeworn quality rather than a crisp, high-contrast finish.

About this fabric

The design is built from scrolling stems, serrated leaves, small blossoms and rounded paisley motifs in weathered blue, blue-grey and muted taupe. Against the chalky cream background, the colours read cool and softened, with enough tonal variation to give the repeat depth without making it feel busy. A fine, visibly woven texture runs through the cloth and subtly breaks up the printed-looking shapes. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use this blue-and-cream colourway where a room needs pattern with a settled, heritage feel: it suits relaxed curtains, patterned cushions or lighter-use occasional upholstery alongside natural woods and warm neutrals.

Use the chalky cream ground and softened blue motifs to bring gentle pattern to curtains, cushions or occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
