Whitendale Liquorice
Stripes Volume 2 FabricWHTNLQRC
Whitendale Liquorice combines deep charcoal bands with pale grey and stone vertical stripes in a closely woven, visibly tactile ground. Its layered neutrals give the stripe a cooler, architectural character.

About this fabric
The design is made up of alternating vertical bands, from narrow dark lines to broader pale-grey and stone sections, creating a varied rhythm rather than an even pinstripe. A fine crosshatched weave is clearly visible across the surface, adding grain and soft tonal variation to the charcoal colourway. The darkest stripes read as a liquorice charcoal, while the lighter threads bring a gently weathered contrast that keeps the overall effect from looking flat. With its structured vertical direction and medium visual weight, this textile is well suited to both upholstery and drapery.
How to use it
Pair Whitendale Liquorice with warm white, putty or pale stone walls to pick up its lighter woven stripes, or use it on a tailored chair against darker charcoal accents for a more graphic scheme.
Use the charcoal-and-stone vertical stripes to bring tailored contrast to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Whitendale Liquorice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
