About this fabric

The colour sits between softened beige and warm grey, with an understated stone quality rather than a bright cream finish. Small ogee-like motifs with leafy, arched centres repeat in a neat vertical rhythm across the swatch. The woven-looking texture slightly diffuses the pattern, while the pale motifs remain visible against the taupe ground when viewed closely. The overall effect is calm and smart, with enough tonal variation to avoid looking flat.

How to use it

Use this stone taupe on relaxed upholstery or full-length curtains where its muted warmth can soften cooler greys and complement natural timber, ivory and chalky neutrals. The small-scale pattern also suits cushions and occasional chairs without dominating the room.

A softly patterned stone taupe that brings quiet texture to curtains, cushions and upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
