About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Trebeck Taupe from Essential Weaves Vol 1 is specified for drapes only and has a 140cm width. The small-scale geometric/abstract structure gives the cloth a fine, orderly texture, while the visible taupe tone sits between beige and grey for an understated, versatile look. With a weight of 357 grams per linear metre and 255 grams per square metre, it has enough substance to hang neatly without appearing heavy. The 27cm vertical repeat and 24cm horizontal repeat support the restrained, repeating surface seen in the swatch. No rub test is noted, so this page is focused on its drapery use and its quietly tailored appearance.

How to use it

Use this soft taupe in full-length curtains where you want a composed, neutral backdrop with more interest than a plain weave. It pairs well with natural timber, oatmeal upholstery and bronze or black metal finishes.
