About this fabric

This 295 gsm fabric has a versatile mid-weight handle, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery. Its 139 cm usable width carries an expansive botanical arrangement, with a 61.5 cm vertical repeat and 139 cm horizontal repeat for planning joins and pattern placement. Large olive and brown-green ferns anchor the design, while translucent blush blooms and muted lilac leaves bring a cooler, faded contrast across the natural background. The fine crosshatched ground keeps the colourway tactile and quietly relaxed rather than sharply graphic.

How to use it

Use Herbarium Blush/Natural on a reading chair, headboard or relaxed blind where its warm ivory ground can balance timber and natural fibres. Pick up the dusty lilac and blush notes in cushions or painted accents, while olive upholstery piping or trim can echo the foliage.

Use the warm natural ground with olive foliage and dusty lilac accents to bring a softly collected botanical feel to upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Herbarium Blush/Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
