Nairobi Banner Sunset

Breegan Jane x Clarke and Clarke Wallpaper WallpaperCCW0110-01

Nairobi Banner Sunset is an atmospheric wallpaper with a broad, painterly sweep of colour. This particular colourway travels from misty aqua and pale blue at the top through blush pink, peach and ochre, settling into deep blue at the base.

About this fabric

The design has a soft, blurred landscape quality, with cloud-like horizontal brushstrokes layered in icy blue, teal, cream, coral, pink, muted yellow and green. Its darkest navy and blue-green tones gather along the lower edge, giving the light central colours added depth rather than a flat, pastel appearance. With a 300 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat, the composition is intended to unfold in a tall, continuous rhythm across the wall. The 68.5 cm usable width, 12 m standard length and 108 gsm weight are supplied specifications for this wallpaper.

How to use it

Pair the cool blue foundation with pale timber, chalky neutrals and brushed metal, then echo the sunset-like coral, pink and ochre accents in cushions, ceramics or artwork. The deeper navy at the bottom makes it especially effective behind a console, bed or seating area where the full vertical sweep can be appreciated.

Use this expansive blue-led mural effect to bring painterly movement and warm sunset accents to a feature wall.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
