Tribeca Denim

Manhattan FabricCCF0229-03

Tribeca Denim combines cool denim-blue squares with ivory, taupe and softly weathered grey grounds. Its compact check has a tactile, brushed appearance, with the darker blue blocks giving the swatch gentle depth rather than a sharp graphic contrast.

About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke woven fabric has a substantial 575gsm weight, making it well suited to upholstery where its textured surface can be appreciated on seating and cushions. The design uses small staggered checks, with a 10cm vertical repeat and a 4.5cm horizontal repeat. At 137cm usable width, the pattern reads as a close, adaptable texture across the cloth rather than a large-scale statement. Tribeca Denim's cool blue-grey tone is softened by warm ivory and taupe threads, while the slightly uneven weave keeps the colourway relaxed and tactile.

How to use it

Use Tribeca Denim on an armchair, bench or sofa where its muted denim blue can anchor ivory, stone and pale timber tones. Pair it with washed linen and softly aged finishes to emphasise the check's relaxed, lightly weathered character.

Use this cool denim check to bring relaxed, tactile structure to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tribeca Denim without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
