Tribeca Ebony

Manhattan FabricCCF0229-04

Tribeca Ebony layers black, charcoal, cream, grey and muted taupe into a tightly organised geometric check. The softly brushed surface gives the dark squares depth, while lighter threads keep the overall impression from becoming stark.

About this fabric

The small rectangular check has an irregular woven character, with alternating solid-looking dark blocks and subtly striated sections that catch the light differently. Its 10cm vertical and 4.5cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the motif closely paced across the cloth, making the Ebony colourway feel graphic but finely textured rather than bold and oversized. At 575gsm, this is a substantial textile well suited to upholstery applications. The 137cm usable width and 25m standard length provide practical dimensions for planning larger projects.

How to use it

Pair Tribeca Ebony with warm ivory, soft stone and smoked timber to draw out its cream and taupe notes, or use it against black accents for a sharper modern scheme. Its compact check works particularly well on chairs, footstools and tailored seating where the texture can be seen up close.

Use this deep, softly contrasted check on upholstery where its substantial woven texture can add graphic definition without overwhelming the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
