Stucco Ebony

Manhattan FabricCCF0228-04

Stucco Ebony is a deep charcoal-black textile with a densely mottled surface, threaded with fine cream, taupe and brown flecks. The close, irregular weave gives the colourway a richly textured, almost mineral appearance.

About this fabric

At 691 gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery and substantial seating applications. Its dark ebony ground is softened by scattered pale flecks, while subtle brown and grey threads keep the surface from reading as flat black. The 137 cm usable width provides practical coverage for upholstery work. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, so the irregular texture does not require motif matching.

How to use it

Use Stucco Ebony on a sofa, armchair or ottoman in a room with warm timber, aged metal and soft neutral upholstery. Its charcoal depth works especially well as a grounding contrast against ivory, stone and muted taupe tones.

Use this deep, flecked upholstery on statement seating, where its dense texture adds visual depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
