Linear Charcoal

Origins FabricCCF0498-01

Linear Charcoal presents a cool, pale charcoal-grey ground crossed by interlocking angular lines in charcoal, soft grey and bright white. The woven surface gives the geometric design a subtly tactile, textile-led finish.

About this fabric

The pattern forms repeating hexagonal and faceted shapes, with alternating dark charcoal, white and tonal grey lines creating a measured, architectural rhythm. Fine vertical and horizontal threads remain visible across the ground, adding depth without softening the clarity of the design. At 313 gsm and 136 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats every 23.5 cm vertically and 22.7 cm horizontally, allowing the linked geometry to continue consistently across a project.

How to use it

Use Linear Charcoal to give a contemporary chair, bench or headboard a cool graphic accent, or let its pale charcoal ground temper brighter white and dark grey furnishings at the window. Its restrained monochrome palette also works well with concrete, pale oak and brushed metal.

A cool charcoal geometric weave that brings structured contrast to contemporary upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Linear Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
