Origins FabricCCF0498-03

Linear Linen combines a cool greige ground with interlocking, angular lines in chalk white, taupe and muted sage-grey. Its lightly textured woven surface gives the geometric design a softened, natural finish.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a repeating network of faceted, cube-like outlines, with alternating pale and darker bands creating subtle depth across the cloth. The base is a quiet greige, reading cooler than beige, while the white accents catch the light and the sage-grey and taupe lines add gentle contrast. A fine vertical weave texture remains visible beneath the pattern, keeping the structured motif from feeling stark. At 313gsm and 136cm wide, Linear Linen has a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery; the pattern repeats every 23.5cm vertically and 22.7cm horizontally.

How to use it

Use this cool greige colourway on a tailored armchair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtains, then echo its chalk-white and muted sage-grey lines in cushions or painted woodwork.

Use the cool greige ground with chalk-white and sage-grey accents to bring quiet structure to upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Linear Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
