Parallel Charcoal

Origins FabricCCF0519-01

Parallel Charcoal pairs a cool charcoal-grey woven ground with crisp ivory bars arranged in alternating horizontal and vertical groups. The pale motif catches the light against the softly textured surface, giving the swatch a clean but tactile graphic quality.

About this fabric

At 313gsm, this substantial textile has enough visual and physical presence for upholstery as well as drapery. Its geometric repeat measures 11.7cm vertically by 8.5cm horizontally, creating a regular rhythm of short ivory bars that shifts direction across the charcoal ground. The grey is deep and cool rather than warm or brown, while the ivory markings keep the overall effect light enough for tailored seating, cushions and modern curtains. With a 136cm usable width and 40m standard length, it is practical for coordinated interior schemes.

How to use it

Use Parallel Charcoal to sharpen a pale contemporary room with a charcoal occasional chair, bench or cushions, or let its cool grey ground anchor full-length curtains against warm timber and ivory walls.

Use this textured charcoal-and-ivory geometric for tailored upholstery, cushions or structured curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Parallel Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
