Emile Ice Blue

Emile II FabricJ896F-40

Emile Ice Blue is a calm, low-key plain with a soft pale blue cast and a smooth, matte look. The surface reads quiet and even, with just enough tonal depth to keep the colourway from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 50% cotton and 50% polyester, Emile Ice Blue has a balanced handle that suits both upholstery and curtains. The cloth shows a fine, understated texture rather than a visible pattern, with a zero repeat and a width of approximately 140cm. This colourway sits in a cool ice-blue register, softened by a little grey so it feels fresh rather than bright. Its restrained finish gives it an easy, smart quality that works well when you want colour without visual noise.

How to use it

Use Emile Ice Blue on slim dining chairs, cushions or tailored drapes where the pale blue can brighten a room without dominating it. It pairs neatly with white-painted timber, chalky neutrals and brushed metals for a clean, contemporary scheme.

A cool, understated blue that works cleanly on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
