Harvard Honey

Harvard II FabricL9310-16

Harvard Honey is a softly luminous wool in a warm honey-beige tone, with a smooth, closely woven surface and a calm, even finish. The colour reads as a gentle neutral rather than a strong yellow, giving the cloth an easy, settled look.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% wool, Harvard Honey has the refined handle and natural body expected of a high-quality upholstery cloth, while its approx. 140cm width and 0cm horizontal and vertical repeat make it straightforward to pattern-match for simpler schemes. The swatch shows a fine, plain weave with a subtle directional texture that catches the light just enough to give the surface depth without visible pattern. Its shade sits between cream and beige with a warm honey undertone, so it feels brighter than taupe but softer than a true tan. The overall effect is neat and understated, with enough substance for seating and enough visual calm for drapery where a tailored plain is wanted.

How to use it

Use Harvard Honey to soften darker timbers, chocolate leather, or painted joinery, where its warm beige tone will lift the room without sharp contrast. It also works well in layered schemes with linen, parchment, and muted bronze accents.

A warm, quietly tailored neutral that works across seating and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
