About this fabric

This colourway has a muted powder-blue ground with pale clouded striations, giving the cloth a gently washed appearance rather than a flat solid finish. The visible weave is fine and textural, with the viscose and cotton blend softened by the linen and polyester content for a slightly slubbed, natural feel. At approximately 141cm wide, and with repeat noted as vertical 0cm / horizontal 0cm approx, it is a straightforward plain cloth that suits tailored schemes. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code are useful specifications for residential interiors.

How to use it

Use Melo Blue where you want colour that feels fresh but not bright: it sits well with crisp white, pale oak and brushed nickel. Its cool, faded tone also layers neatly with soft greys and sandy neutrals in relaxed coastal or contemporary rooms.

A calm powder-blue ground that works neatly across upholstery and drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
