Jane

Reds and Yellows Paint

Jane is a very pale yellow with a creamy, quiet warmth that sits close to ivory. It brings a gentle lift to a room without reading as white.

About this colour

This shade reads as a soft butter yellow with a clean, lightly warm cast, so it brightens walls without turning brash. In north-facing light it can seem a little calmer and more restrained, with the yellow softened toward cream. In south-facing rooms it opens out and feels sunnier, but still stays pale enough to sit easily with other colours. It works well beside natural oak, painted joinery in off-whites, and upholstery in stone, sage, or warm grey.

How to use it

Jane suits kitchens, hallways, and sitting rooms where you want a light backdrop that still feels welcoming. It is especially good with pale timber, linen-look upholstery, and simple woodwork in matching warm whites or muted greens.

A pale warm yellow like Jane will lift a wall without overwhelming the room.
