La Torre
Reds and Yellows Paint
La Torre is a grounded terracotta rose with a muted, earthy warmth. It sits between pink, brown and brick, giving a room a settled colour that feels composed rather than bright.

About this colour
In #986C63, La Torre reads as a warm red-brown with a soft rose cast, so it absorbs more light than it reflects and feels close and enveloping on a wall. In north-facing light it can look deeper and more cocoa-toned, with the pinkness pulled back; in south-facing rooms the warmer red notes come forward and the colour feels richer and more sun-warmed. On woodwork it gives a quiet, tailored edge, especially in Eggshell or Soft Sheen, while Flat Matt and Flat Matt Claypaint will make it feel fuller and more matte on walls. It sits well beside natural linens, tobacco leathers, walnut, oak and deep greens, and it has enough depth to hold its own next to patterned curtains or upholstered chairs without becoming fussy.
How to use it
La Torre suits sitting rooms, studies and hallways where you want warmth without glare. It works particularly well with oak joinery, dark-stained wood, tan leather and upholstery in moss, biscuit or muted rust.
A warm, earthy rose-brown that brings depth and calm to a wall.
