Amoir Fou Wall Bordeaux

Fire-retardant Fabric023

Amoir Fou Wall Bordeaux presents a deep Bordeaux shade with plum-like darkness and a broad, flowing surface pattern. Fine horizontal texture beneath the pattern gives the swatch a softly dimensional, textile-led finish.

About this fabric

Catalogued as a fabric from Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection, this colourway is visibly dominated by a rich wine-burgundy ground. Broad, irregular bands move across the surface in a subdued moiré-like pattern, with darker plum shadows tracing the undulations. Fine horizontal lines remain visible through the design, adding a lightly ribbed appearance rather than a flat printed look. Its dark, concentrated tone gives the pattern a more intimate and dramatic character than a brighter Bordeaux red.

How to use it

Use the deep wine and plum tones for generous drapery in a study, dining room or bedroom, pairing them with warm timber, aged brass and quiet neutrals so the rippled surface remains the focus.

Use this deep Bordeaux tone for full-length curtains or softly gathered panels where its dark, rippled surface can catch changing light.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Amoir Fou Wall Bordeaux without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
