Lost World Red

Wilderie Wallpapers WallpaperCCW0042-05

Lost World Red places a saturated scarlet-red ground behind an exuberant illustrated scene of a striped zebra, falling water, peacock feathers and dense botanical forms. The intense warm red makes the detailed black, white, teal and green artwork feel especially theatrical.

About this fabric

The central zebra combines crisp black-and-white striping with spotted hindquarters, while peacock eyes, tropical leaves and a waterfall create a richly layered maximalist composition. Its 52 cm usable width and 68.6 cm vertical pattern repeat make the tall artwork a significant part of the installation. Supplied at a 150 gsm weight, the wallpaper has a standard length of 10.05 m. Against the highly saturated red ground, the cooler teal and blue accents provide vivid contrast and draw attention to the intricate illustration.

How to use it

Give Lost World Red a dramatic feature wall in a study, dining room or eclectic bedroom, then pick out the design’s peacock teal, leafy green and black details in small furnishings. Keep larger upholstered pieces comparatively calm so the scarlet artwork remains the room’s visual focus.

Use this vivid scarlet design as a dramatic feature wall, pairing its peacock blues and leafy greens with quieter furnishings.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lost World Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
