About this fabric

Woven in 82% recycled polyester and 18% polyester, this 150cm-wide fabric has a small-scale pattern repeat of 9.5cm V x 4.5cm H, giving the motif a regular rhythm across the cloth. The swatch shows a deep indigo blue set against a softened cream base, with the weave creating a slightly textured, heathered look rather than a flat printed finish. Its crisp diamond lattice reads smart and controlled, while the broken surface keeps the blue from feeling too stark. Care instructions are BQW1<, so it is presented as a practical decorative fabric with a polished graphic edge.

How to use it

Use Alderley Indigo on a tailored armchair, ottoman or bench where the small diamond pattern can be appreciated up close. The cool blue-and-cream palette works especially well with pale woods, painted joinery and other restrained, modern interiors.

A crisp indigo-and-cream geometric that adds order and contrast without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
