Carnaby Antique

Magma Fabric

Carnaby Antique is a quietly tonal plain with a softly chalked, antique-cream look. The surface reads smooth and restrained, with just enough texture to keep the shade from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Shown here in a warm antique cream, Carnaby Antique has a calm, lightly melanged appearance that catches the light gently rather than reflecting it sharply. The fabric is a practical textile, measuring 140cm wide and made from 59% cotton and 41% polyester, with no repeat to consider when planning a project. Its fine woven texture gives the colour a dry, softly brushed impression, making the shade feel more lived-in than bright white. The overall effect is neutral and understated, with a subtle warmth that keeps it usable across classic and contemporary schemes. Care instruction NQT1< is supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a clean-lined sofa, or as relaxed drapery where its pale warmth can soften daylight. It pairs especially well with oak, stone, and layered oatmeal textiles.

A softly warmed neutral that sits easily with natural woods and tonal linens.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
