Belvedere Sapphire

Misc Fabric

Belvedere Sapphire shows a crisp grid of turquoise-teal squares set against a deep black ground, giving the design a sharp, graphic presence. The slight lurex content adds a faint sparkle that lifts the colour without softening its contrast.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% polyester and 5% lurex, Belvedere Sapphire has a practical man-made handle with a subtle metallic glint woven into the surface. The 140cm width and 9cm pattern repeat make the fabric easy to work with on both furnishings and window treatments. Visually, the colourway reads as a bright sapphire-teal, with each square appearing speckled and luminous against the dark grid. The overall effect is bold but controlled, with enough texture in the weave to keep the pattern from feeling flat.

How to use it

Pair this vivid teal-and-black check with walnut timber, polished chrome, or matte black accents to echo its crisp contrast. It works especially well in rooms that need a strong, cool colour hit rather than a soft decorative print.

Use for statement chairs, cushions, or curtains where the teal squares can pop against the dark ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
