Belvedere Smoke
Misc Fabric
Belvedere Smoke shows a softly blurred check in smoky taupe, with lighter squares floating against a dark brown-grey ground. The subtle lurex thread gives the surface a faint, reflective lift rather than a strong shine.

About this fabric
Belvedere Smoke is a textile fabric, not wallpaper, with a 140cm width and a 9cm pattern repeat. Its 95% polyester and 5% lurex composition gives the cloth a smooth, slightly speckled finish and a restrained glimmer in the pale blocks. The check reads as square and evenly paced, but the softened edges stop it feeling hard or graphic. In this colourway, the mix of taupe, mocha and charcoal feels cool and smoky rather than warm or earthy.
How to use it
Use it on an occasional chair, ottoman or tailored curtains where the muted check can add structure without overwhelming the room. It pairs well with ecru, putty and dark timber finishes, especially when you want a smart, low-sheen contrast.
A softly metallic taupe check that brings depth and polish to seating or curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Belvedere Smoke without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
