Greenwich Earth

Plains & Semi Plains Fabric

Greenwich Earth is a muted, earthy brown with an olive cast and a subtly mottled woven surface. The close weave gives the colour a soft depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% recycled polyester, Greenwich Earth is a practical fabric with a dry, textured handle and a calm, understated look. The 150cm width makes it a useful choice for a range of furnishing projects, while the 10cm pattern repeat reflects the understated woven structure visible in the cloth. Its brown base is lifted by a restrained green undertone, giving it a grounded, natural character that feels warmer in daylight and deeper in shadow. Care instructions are 1<NQT, so it is best handled with appropriate furnishing care.

How to use it

Use this earthy olive-brown tone on a sofa, ottoman, or headboard if you want a grounded neutral with more depth than beige. It also works well with natural woods, aged brass, and soft cream accents.

A quietly versatile neutral that works well across seating and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
