About this fabric

The large dandelion heads are built from fine white radiating lines, creating a feathery contrast with the smooth slate ground and narrow gold stems. This colourway reads cool and muted overall, while the gold details bring a gentle warmth through the centre of each flower and along the stems. At 280 gsm with 37 threads per cm, the fabric has a substantial mid-weight specification suited to both upholstery and drapery. It has a 128 cm usable width, with a 76 cm vertical repeat and 64 cm horizontal repeat for planning the repeating botanical layout.

How to use it

Use the slate-grey ground to bring a calm, contemporary note to a window seat, occasional chair or full-length curtain. Echo the warm gold stems with brushed brass lighting or subtly golden hardware, while keeping surrounding upholstery pale and tonal to preserve the airy white seed-heads.

A cool slate ground and fine gold stems give the large dandelion motif a quietly polished feel for upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Amity Slate/Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
