Aves Moonlight

Momentum Volume 7 & 8 FabricHAF0169-01

Aves Moonlight is a smoky blue-grey woven fabric with a fine, irregular angular pattern worked across the surface. Its muted ground and charcoal-grey detail create a softly layered appearance, while the close weave gives the swatch a tactile depth.

About this fabric

This 357gsm fabric has a 140cm usable width and a standard 30m length, making it a substantial mid-weight option for both upholstery and drapery. The small-scale design is formed from closely spaced, broken zigzag and triangular marks rather than a bold outlined motif. A 36cm vertical repeat and 48cm horizontal repeat give the pattern a measured rhythm across larger applications. With 153 threads per cm, the woven surface reads as dense and finely textured, and the cool grey-blue tone remains understated rather than stark.

How to use it

Use Aves Moonlight to bring a cool, contemporary note to an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard, where its fine charcoal geometry can be appreciated up close. It would also suit relaxed curtains or Roman blinds against pale stone, chalky white or deeper graphite tones.

A cool, quietly textured grey for contemporary upholstery, cushions, blinds or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Aves Moonlight without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
