Derain Emerald/Paprika

Zamora Weaves FabricHAF0664-02

Derain Emerald/Paprika has a saturated emerald-teal ground, overlaid with irregular paprika marks and pale mineral flecks. Its softly mottled surface gives the colourway a richly layered, weathered appearance rather than a crisp geometric effect.

About this fabric

At 783 gsm, this is a substantial woven textile with an upholstery-led presence. The cool emerald-teal base is warmed by scattered paprika brown-red accents, while lighter blue-green and mineral-toned threads catch across the surface. It has a 141 cm usable width, with a 25 cm vertical repeat and 34 cm horizontal repeat. The closely constructed surface is specified at 108 threads per cm, giving the irregular pattern its dense, tactile depth.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its emerald depth can provide a strong grounding note. Repeat the paprika accents through rust, terracotta or warm brown cushions and accessories, while pale mineral details can be picked up in cooler stone tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
