About this fabric

The pattern is formed from rolling blue-and-white wave bands, curled cloud-like motifs and small organic shapes picked out in deep teal, olive green and warm mustard. Its cool blue ground keeps the colourway fresh, while the darker forest accents add definition across the repeat. At 710 gsm with 95 threads per cm, this is a substantial woven fabric suited to upholstery. The 137 cm usable width accommodates practical covering, while the pattern repeats at 65.5 cm vertically and 68 cm horizontally.

How to use it

Use Kanagawa Sky/Forest on a statement armchair, footstool or sofa where its cool blue base can balance warm timber and natural neutral finishes. Repeat the forest teal or olive in cushions and pair with soft cream to keep the detailed motif composed.

Use this cool blue and forest-toned weave to bring layered colour and graphic movement to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
