About this fabric

The design is composed of irregular horizontal bands in spice red, coral and ivory, with a mottled, distressed finish that gives the surface a softly aged appearance. Turquoise-blue rectangular checks run in narrow vertical columns between the striped sections, adding definition without overpowering the warmer tones. This wallpaper has a usable width of 52 cm and a standard roll length of 10.05 m. Its vertical pattern repeat is 49.1 cm, making the alternating bands and checked columns an important consideration when planning installation.

How to use it

Use Toluca Spice/Azul where its warm coral-spice stripes can energise the room, then echo the turquoise checks with cool blue-green upholstery, painted joinery or ceramics. Ivory furnishings will keep the layered pattern feeling light.

Use the warm spice and coral bands to bring character to a room, balancing them with the cool turquoise-blue checks and ivory ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
