About this fabric

The pattern is made up of tightly arranged geometric stems, leaves, stylised flowers and diamond motifs, aligned in vertical bands across a warm cream ground. Terracotta and rust-red shapes provide the visual warmth, while dusty blue, blue-green, olive and charcoal accents give the colourway depth rather than brightness. At 710 gsm and 138 cm wide, this is a notably substantial textile suited to upholstery, with 95 threads per cm contributing to its closely woven appearance. The design has a 78 cm vertical repeat and 68.5 cm horizontal repeat, creating a clearly scaled pattern across larger upholstered surfaces.

How to use it

Use the terracotta and rust notes to warm a reading chair, headboard or sofa, balancing them with blue-grey paint, aged timber and textured cream furnishings. The cooler azul and olive accents also work well with antique brass and muted green accessories.

A substantial woven upholstery textile with warm terracotta accents, cool blue-green foliage and a rhythmic vertical pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
