About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this design has a usable width of 142cm and a 14cm horizontal by 16cm vertical pattern repeat. The 20,000 Martindale rating and General Domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for everyday furniture as well as curtains and accessories, and it is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery. In this colourway the cornflower ground reads fresh and slightly muted rather than vivid, so the foliage and flowers feel softly washed in light. The palette moves between blue-green leaves, blush pink blossoms and small violet accents, giving the fabric a cool, restful character with enough detail to hold interest at close range.

How to use it

Use it on a statement armchair or Roman blinds where the pale cornflower ground can brighten the room without feeling stark. It works especially well alongside chalky neutrals, weathered wood and soft green paint.

A painterly botanical that brings cool freshness to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
