About this fabric

Strathspey Herringbone Cigar is a densely woven textile with a small, closely spaced herringbone visible across the swatch. Its cigar-brown ground reads warm and deep, while tiny darker and lighter threads break up the surface rather than leaving it flat. The compact diagonal texture gives the cloth a quietly tailored appearance and a subtle change of tone as the weave catches light. No further composition, width, rub-test or performance specification is supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this deep cigar-brown colourway on an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa where its fine herringbone can add texture without introducing a strong pattern. It works particularly well with warm timber, tobacco leather and softly contrasting neutral textiles.

Its deep cigar-brown tone and compact herringbone bring quiet structure to tailored upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
