About this fabric

The visible weave is dense and nubby, with small loops and irregular slubs running across the face in horizontal bands. Its cool violet foundation is softened by dusty lilac and mauve threads, while grey-beige flecks prevent the shade from reading as flat or overly saturated. Occasional dark berry and pink-red marks add subtle depth within the otherwise restrained palette. This fabric is catalogued as Fabric, with no performance features noted.

How to use it

Use this muted violet colourway to upholster a relaxed armchair, footstool or occasional sofa, pairing it with warm grey, weathered timber and pale mauve accents. Its varied horizontal texture can also add depth to a calm, tonal room without introducing a strong printed motif.

A softly variegated violet weave with lilac, mauve and grey flecks for relaxed upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
