Dakota Suede Ii Fabric

Dakota Suede II Blackcurrant presents a near-black berry purple across a quiet, unpatterned surface. The close image shows a fine, softly brushed texture and very subtle tonal movement rather than a visible motif.

About this fabric

The swatch is an almost-black blackcurrant purple, with a cool berry depth that reads darker at the edges and softer through the centre. Its surface appears finely brushed and suede-like rather than patterned, with a restrained, velvety haze that catches little light. No composition, width, rub test or performance features were supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this deep, cool blackcurrant on a statement armchair, footstool or upholstered headboard where its near-black tone can create an enveloping focal point. Balance the shade with warm timber, aged brass or lighter neutral upholstery to keep the room from feeling too dense.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
