Smooth Morocco Brown

Smooth Iii Fabric

Smooth Morocco Brown reads as a deep, near-charcoal brown with a softly mottled surface. The close-up shows a plain cloth whose restrained texture prevents the dark shade from appearing flat.

About this fabric

This colourway has a rich brown tone that sits close to charcoal, giving it a cool, shadowed depth in the swatch image. Its surface is visually plain, with only a fine, low-contrast variation across the cloth rather than a printed motif. The smooth face catches the light very gently, creating a soft tonal shift instead of a pronounced sheen. This understated finish makes the colour feel smart and quietly architectural.

How to use it

Pair the deep charcoal-brown tone with warm timber, aged brass and soft cream for contrast, or use it alongside charcoal and stone shades for a tonal, contemporary room.

Use this deep charcoal-brown plain cloth to bring quiet depth to upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
