About this fabric

The close-up shows an all-over, finely pebbled weave rather than a printed motif, with subtle tonal variation across the blue-grey ground. The shade sits between cool slate and deep whale blue, creating restrained depth without appearing bright or saturated. Its dense-looking surface is well suited to upholstery applications. No composition, width, rub test or performance features are supplied for this exact colourway.

How to use it

Use Teddy Whale on a sofa, armchair or headboard where its cool blue-grey tone can anchor pale stone, chalk and warm timber finishes. Pair it with brushed metal or darker charcoal accents to draw out the shade’s quiet depth.

A cool whale blue-grey texture that brings quiet depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
