Cast Paprika

Utility Fabric

Cast Paprika brings a warm, earthy red tone to the Utility collection, with slim vertical ribs running consistently across the surface. The directional texture creates gentle shifts between brighter and deeper paprika shades as the light moves across the cloth.

About this fabric

The swatch has a softly shaded, ribbed surface with closely spaced vertical channels rather than a printed motif. Its paprika-red colour sits between terracotta and brick, giving the fabric a muted warmth and substantial visual depth. The vertical construction would emphasise clean lines on an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Pair Cast Paprika with warm neutrals, aged timber and dark metal, using its brick-red depth as an enveloping accent on a reading chair or banquette. The narrow vertical ribs can also reinforce tall, tailored silhouettes.

Use this warm paprika shade on upholstered seating to add depth without overwhelming a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cast Paprika without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
