Stroke Kingfisher

Utility Fabric

Stroke Kingfisher is a deep, cool teal-blue textile with a visibly plush, uneven surface. Its dark petrol shading and softly brushed marks give the colour a dense, atmospheric depth.

About this fabric

The kingfisher tone reads saturated and blue-led, with charcoal-petrol shadows settling into the textured pile. Irregular horizontal and diagonal marks move across the face, creating a stroke-like effect rather than a crisp repeated motif. Its raised, shaggy surface catches the light unevenly, shifting between subdued teal highlights and deeper blue-green recesses. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this deep cool teal on a generous sofa, lounge chair or headboard where its plush surface can provide both colour and tactile focus. Balance the saturated blue-green with warm timber, soft stone neutrals or aged brass.

A richly tactile teal for enveloping sofas, statement chairs and upholstered headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
